On October 2, 2023, the Eco Club organized a campus cleaning initiative in celebration of Gandhi Jayanti, in cooperation with Koduvayur Grama Panchayat. The event commenced at 9:30 AM with an inaugural address by Rev. Dr. Sr. Anitha Chiramel, the Principal, who highlighted the importance of cleanliness and environmental stewardship, drawing inspiration from Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings. The initiative was coordinated by Eco Club in-charge Reshma S., along with the dedicated efforts of teaching and non-teaching staff. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Eco Club members, students, faculty, and Panchayat members, totaling approximately [insert number] participants. Activities included dividing participants into groups to clean various sections of the campus, such as gardens, pathways, and classrooms, focusing on trash collection and litter removal. Awareness sessions were conducted during breaks, where participants shared insights on waste management and recycling practices. Additionally, a waste segregation initiative was implemented, educating participants on the importance of separating biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste. A tree-planting session further contributed to enhancing the campus's green cover. The initiative concluded at 12:30 PM, marking a successful collaboration that not only beautified the campus but also fostered a strong community spirit. Special thanks were extended to Rev.
