On 14 January 2026, Holy Family College of Education for Women, Koduvayur, conducted an awareness class on Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) in the AV Room for 99 participants. The session was designed to familiarize students with digital learning platforms, specifically focusing on the SWAYAM portal, and to highlight the role of online certifications in academic and professional upskilling. Throughout the program, students received practical guidance on account creation and enrollment, while learning about the academic validity and flexibility of technology-enabled education. The event was highly successful, with participants reporting increased confidence in navigating online courses and a strong motivation to utilize these digital resources for self-directed learning and professional growth.
GENDER PLEDGE
On 16th December 2024, as part of the Nayi Chetna 3.0 campaign against Gender-Based Violence, initiated by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, Holy Family College of Education for Women organized a gender pledge. This initiative aimed to inspire B.Ed students to commit to promoting the rights and agency of women and gender-diverse individuals by confronting the structural barriers that prevent them from living Dfree from fear, discrimination, and violence.
