On 14 January 2026, Holy Family College of Education for Women, Koduvayur, conducted an awareness class on Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) in the AV Room for 99 participants. The session was designed to familiarize students with digital learning platforms, specifically focusing on the SWAYAM portal, and to highlight the role of online certifications in academic and professional upskilling. Throughout the program, students received practical guidance on account creation and enrollment, while learning about the academic validity and flexibility of technology-enabled education. The event was highly successful, with participants reporting increased confidence in navigating online courses and a strong motivation to utilize these digital resources for self-directed learning and professional growth.

Mathematics Quiz Report The mathematics club conducted mathematics quiz at KHSS Kannadi and GHSS Koduvayur on 16th and 18th August 2025 respectively for 9th std students. The quiz covered topics to solve algebraic equations and problems, arithmetic operations, percentages, ratios, and proportions, solve geometric problems including properties of shapes. Mathematics puzzles was conducted at GGVHSS Chittur on 28th July 2025 and mathematics riddles at Karnakiyammam school on 04rth August 2025. Mathematics Riddles included Number Sequences, Algebraic Riddles, Geometry Riddles and Logic Riddles. Mathematics Puzzles included Sudoku,  KenKen and Math Bingo. These activities promoted mathematical awareness, logical reasoning, critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students.

GENDER PLEDGE

On 16th December 2024, as part of the Nayi Chetna 3.0 campaign against Gender-Based Violence, initiated by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, Holy Family College of Education for Women organized a gender pledge. This initiative aimed to inspire B.Ed students to commit to promoting the rights and agency of women and gender-diverse individuals by confronting the structural barriers that prevent them from living Dfree from fear, discrimination, and violence.

OBSERVATION OF ANTI-RAGGING WEEK (12th–18th AUGUST 2025)

The Anti-ragging committee in collaboration with IQAC resolved to observe Anti-Ragging Week from 12th to 18th August 2025 as per UGC guidelines. The following activities will be organized as part of Anti-Ragging Week on 13th August 2025. Essay Competition in English and Malayalam. Slogan Writing Competition. Poster Display for Anti-Ragging Awareness Students actively participated in all events, showcasing their creativity and commitment to a ragging-free campus. The activities generated awareness and fostered a sense of responsibility among students to uphold values of respect and safety. The initiative reinforced the institution’s stance against ragging and promoted a positive campus culture.
