International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2024

Every year International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, popularly known as World Drug Day, is observed on 26th June

As a part of Vimukthi club, Holy Family College of Education for Women conducted an outreach programme at Govt. High School, Koduvayur, on 26st June 2024.

The Holy Family College of Education for women Koduvayur, conducted a program at Koduvayur Government High School as part of the Vimukti Club initiative. The program aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and promote a drug-free lifestyle among students.

The program began with a oath-taking ceremony, where student Neha from class VIII read out the oath, accompanied by student teachers Maya Vinod and K.S. Anakha from the English option. The oath emphasized the importance of leading a drug-free life and encouraging others to do the same.

As part of the program, students created posters on the theme "Against Drug Abuse." The posters showcased creative messages and slogans, highlighting the harmful effects of drugs on individuals and society. The student teachers guided and supported the students in designing the posters, which were later displayed in the classroom.

The Vimukti Club of Holy Family College of Education for women aims to continue such initiatives, promoting awareness and education on social issues among young minds.

This Conference examined the European Union policies and initiatives that promote innovative teaching methods and explored the key themes that discusses the innovative teaching pedagogy skills for the 21 century.our Conference provided a platform for sharing good practices,discussing challenges and explored solutions to the complex issues facing teaching education policy.
